    John Lee Hooker. One of the most import blues musicians to have ever recorded, and my personal favorite. He plays what I often like to describe as "gut music," music that is raw, emotionally engaging, poignant without superficial intent, and always aimed right at your gut.

    There is no better song to kick the John Lee Hooker Thread off with than his incredible "Hobo Blues." It's John Lee Hooker at his finest...
